Even the actors don't know the ending of this story; it's up to the audience to decide if Goody Bishop is an evil witch in truth, or if she is merely an innocent innkeeper's wife.

She was a strange woman, and the death of her second husband had already aroused suspicions. Now as an elderly wife of the local innkeeper, Bridget Bishop faces the courtroom accused for the second time of the greatest deadly sin: Witchcraft! Is she the one cursing the local children with illness and pain? Did she use the Devil's magic to further her own nefarious plans? What is she doing late at night with her guests at the boarding house when all good puritans are asleep? Are all our souls in jeopardy? Only you can decide if Goody Bishop is an evil Witch in league with the Devil himself, or if she is only an innkeeper's wife who has an unusual personality…
